I’m Dee Muchmore, a qualified Solution Focused Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist.
I trained with Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training (CPHT), widely recognised as the gold standard in this field, and I hold a Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH).
I help women navigating medical anxiety find calm, confidence, and a renewed sense of connection. My work is rooted in small, steady shifts that lead to real, lasting change, helping you remember that everything you need is already within you.
I believe in everyday magic. The small moments we often overlook, like steam rising from a cup of tea, rain tapping on the window, soft carpet beneath bare feet, birdsong on a morning walk. These moments remind us that peace and joy aren’t distant goals. They’re already here, waiting to be felt.
But I also know how easily that sense of connection can be lost.
For years, I lived with chronic pain that left me anxious, exhausted, and full of self-doubt. I felt disconnected from my body and my voice, as though I’d forgotten who I was. Discovering Hypnotherapy was a turning point. It helped quiet my mind, ease my pain, and reconnect me with my own inner strength. I found my spark again, and I knew I wanted to help others find theirs too.
Today, I specialise in supporting women experiencing medical anxiety and the fear, stress, and uncertainty that often come with it. I work with clients who feel lost, overwhelmed, or out of balance, guiding them to calm busy thoughts, rebuild trust in themselves, and move forward with greater ease and confidence. The work we do together is relaxed, practical, and deeply transformative.
I was born in Australia and have long called Scotland home. Before this work, I spent years in whisky and tourism, a life rich in people, stories, and connection. That same warmth and curiosity now shape how I work, and I support clients online across the UK and around the world.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me outside in nature, lost in a good book, or singing along to my favourite songs. I love a good catch up with friends, long woodland walks (rain or shine!), and quiet evenings with my cat purring on my lap.
I believe that life often isn't fair, but we can change how we meet it. One small step at a time, we can move from struggle to strength, from disconnection to peace, from surviving to shining.
If you’re ready to begin that journey back to yourself, I’d be honoured to walk beside you.
