Feeling anxious or overwhelmed by cancer treatment and everything that comes with it? Find out how hypnotherapy can help here.
When I work with women going through cancer treatment, I often notice a pattern. It’s not just the diagnosis itself that feels overwhelming, but everything that comes with it. The appointments, the uncertainty, the waiting, the changes to your body, and the emotional weight of facing something you never expected to have to deal with.
Maybe you’re preparing for treatment and finding your mind filled with fear about what lies ahead. Maybe you’re already going through treatment and struggling with anxiety, nausea, pain, anger, grief, or emotions that feel difficult to explain. Perhaps sleep has become a battle, your thoughts won’t quieten, and you’re exhausted from trying to stay positive while carrying so much behind the scenes.
And perhaps the hardest part is that everyone keeps telling you how brave you are, how strong you are, and how well you’re coping.
But they don’t always see the moments when you feel overwhelmed, frightened, frustrated, or completely drained. They don’t always see the impact that treatment can have on your confidence, your sense of control, and the way you feel about yourself.
Cancer treatment can bring so much uncertainty, and it’s completely understandable that this can affect your emotional wellbeing. When so much of life feels out of your hands, finding ways to feel calmer, more grounded, and more in control can make a real difference.
This is where hypnotherapy can help.
I can help you reduce the stress and anxiety you’re carrying, quieten the constant thoughts running through your mind, and support you in building a greater sense of calm and resilience. Together, we can focus on helping you sleep better, feel more confident, and reconnect with the part of yourself that still feels strong, capable, and hopeful, even during such a challenging time.
You don’t have to hold everything together all the time, and you don’t have to go through this part of your journey without support.

Please note: Hypnotherapy is a complementary therapy and does not treat or cure cancer. It is designed to support emotional wellbeing and help you cope alongside your medical care.
Having to face a masectomy, hysterectomy with chemotherapy after a cancer diagnosis left me an anxious tearful wreck. Being a squeemish person, carrying trauma from a childhood injury made my stress and fear even worse. I knew I needed outside support and found my angel in the form of the lovley Dee Muchmore. Reaching out to her has been the best ting ive done. Dee has taught me a number of different tools and skills to use daily and at times of anxiety and panic, even in public places, I now have the ability to use these skills and techniques to ease the panic and anxiety wherever I am. This has given me a sense of control and peace of mind over my future treatment, im facing months and months of hospital visits, but im totally relaxed now. I use the skills dee has taught me on a daily basis, they are all a major part of my life. They will always be a part of my life and as just as important as eating. Im so fortunate to have found dee, highly recommended.
I was hoping that I would be able to improve my anxiety. I certainly have. I now know the signs and act. Taking time out has stopped me ending up in a loop/ rehashing. Dee was amazing.
